Now build extended harmony chord notes for the chords in the bridge.

The C major becomes a major 7th.
The A major becomes a dominant 7 flat 9 (which is a great sounding jazzy chord!).

Take all these chords slowly as your fingers acquire a firm physical grasp of them. Ultimately, you also want your ears and mind to gain a firm mental, conceptual grasp of these chords.

Now we have the F major 7th, F minor 7th, C Major 7th and A7 flat 9. All great sounding jazz chords.
